4 Grounding Habits That I Strive To Implement Daily

I want to begin by saying, I ‘strive’ to do these 4 things on a daily basis, but if I’m unable to do it for some reason, I don’t beat myself for it.

The aim of this blog is to make you feel good about yourself and not put you on some stringent deadline.

Also, I’ve noticed that when I do these 4 things, I feel calm and happy. I’m able to work more efficiently and take care of myself better. So I do try to do these 4 things, and you should too!

1) Walk It Out

I love taking myself out for walks. It’s the best me-time ever! I listen to my favorite music and think my thoughts out loud. It clears my head and makes it more organized. Ofc, walking produces endorphins and makes my heart happy too. So if I’m busy during the day, I try to go out at night. (Yep, that’s how much I love it)

2) Be Grateful

I like to write the top 3 things that I’m grateful for every day. But on days it’s not possible to write them down, I close my eyes and visualize the things I’m grateful for. It gives me an instant rush of inspiration and helps me perform even better.

3) Take Care Of My Hydration

I’m big on drinking water and avoiding caffeine, alcohol, and other such beverages. We feel it’s calming at the moment, but in reality, they slow us down and cause various negative, long-term effects.

4) A Proper Sleep Routine

I try to get 8 hours of sleep and get off work or any work-related activity at least two hours before going to bed. My sleep routine also includes taking a shower and having a warm cup of chamomile tea. These things relax my mind and body and help me get a good night’s sleep.

Those were my 4 things. I would suggest you start by doing any one of these things, and not overwhelm yourself by trying to implement all of them at once.

Work on improving 1% every day and keep adding to your habits based on your needs. Want to know more? Watch this –
